The skin in the upper arm may loose as a result of aging and especially as a result of weight gain/loss. This may cause an inconvenience appearance when you raise your arms and wearing short-sleeved clothing.

The solution is arm lift operation. While it is possible to tighten the muscle by diet and exercise, but it is not possible to tighten loose skin with sports when skin lost its elasticity.
Arm Lift Operation Techniques

Depending on the amount of sagging and patient's expectation, different procedures can be applied:
Arm Slimming with Vaser Liposuction: This option is suitable for people with good skin elasticity so that the skin will tighten on its own after removing excess fat. Procedure should be done by Vaser Liposuction method to tighten the skin after the operation.
Mini Arm Lift: First, arm gets thinner by vaser liposuction, then the excess skin is pulled towards the armpit. The incision is closed in the armpit area, so the scar completely stays under the armpit.
Standard Arm Lift: It is a complete removal of excess skin and fat on arm due to excessive loss of skin elasticity. The incision scar extends from the armpit to just above the elbow. The scar is only seen when you raise your arms since the operation is performed from the inner area of the arm.
What Should Be Considered After Arm Lift Operation?

It is allowed to take a shower after 2 days of the operation.

Corset is used for 1-2 weeks after the surgery and the arms are tried to be kept above the heart level to help the recovery process after the operation and to reduce the development of edema.

There is no need to remove the stitches and sports activities can be started after 4-6 weeks.

Arm movements should be restricted as much as possible in order to avoid enlarging the operation scar for especially 4 weeks after the operation.
