Genetics, the influence of gravity, aging, work life, rapid weight gain or loss and pregnancy can play an important role on butt shape. Some of the problems that may occur are loss of the total shape of butt, flattening, sagging, loss of the curves of butt and waist, and having a cylindrical body shape in general. Most patients complain about genetically small and flattened butt. It is possible to have a more plump, rounded, and smooth butt by these operations. Doctor and patient decide the right technique together based on patient’s needs.

Liposuction (BBL-Brazilian Butt Lift)
In this commonly used and reliable fat injection method, undesirable fats are taken from the stomach and waist with liposuction and injected into the desirable areas of the butt. In this way, patients can get rid of the undesired fats and have a curved and well-proportioned new shape.

Patients should wear a corset for 4 weeks after the operation. It is expected to have some pain which can be manageable by simple painkillers. Patients can return to their regular lives within 1 week.

Fat injection is not an 100% permanent method. Injected fat can be permanent 40-60% after 1-2 years depending on the patients.
Silicone Prostheses
Fat transfer is not the only way for butt enlargement and lifting. Silicone prostheses can be used for butt lifting operations on thin people. Silicones for butts are made from the same material as the ones for breast. Anatomically designed implants for butt are placed to fit butt muscle spaces. Silicone prostheses are put into butt muscles through a tiny incision in the coccyx. They are not noticeable from the outside and not felt by touch. There is also no visible scar because the cut stays in the coccyx. Butt implants which have a similar design as breast implants by characteristics and high-tech can remain in the body for life.
Butt Lift
Butt lift is a surgical procedure to remove loose skin and fat tissue from who had an excess weight loss. After the removal of loose skin and tissue, the remaining skin and tissue will be lifted to get an aesthetic appearance. Most patients who complain of loose skin on the butt experience the same on the legs, too. In this case, butt lift is combined with tight lift. Procedure is completed with a tiny suture above the hipbone after the removal of loose skin.
Post-operative Recovery Process

The night after the operation, patients will stay in the hospital one night spends at the hospital.

A special corset is worn after the operation for 4 weeks to reduce the edema and swellings, and reaching out the best result.

This corset should be removed during the shower time, only.

Patients may have difficulties to move and feel manageable pain for couple of days after the surgery. This is expected and can be controlled by oral painkillers.

Since the butt lift operational techniques are not applied to the sitting area, sitting down or standing up are not restricted. However, it can be little difficult to sit down or stand up in the early stages of the recovery process.

Edema and bruising are expected to reduce day by day and completely disappear after 4 weeks.

Heavy sport activities except walking should be avoided in the first 2 weeks after the operation. There is no harm to do any sport activity in the end of this period.

Due to the use of dissolvable stitches during the surgery, stitches will not need to be removed.

Patients can take a bath 3 days after the operation.

Patients can return to work within 1 week after the operation.

Operasyondan sonraki 3 ila 7 gün içerisinde iş hayatına geri dönüş sağlanır. Operasyondan 2 hafta sonra yürüyüşlere başlayabilen hastaların, ağır spor egzersizleri için ise en az 6 hafta beklemesi gerekir. Operasyon sonrası oluşan şişlik ve sertlikler genellikle 2 ay içerisinde geçse de istenilen sonucun tam anlamıyla elde edilebilmesi için ameliyatın üzerinden yaklaşık 6-9 ay geçmesi gerekir.
