Breast lift operation is performed by removing the excess skin that causes sagging and lifting the breast tissue in itself and hanging it up. A reverse-T-shaped scar remains after the operation. After the incisions are made; the underlying breast tissue is lifted and reshaped to increase breast contour and firmness. The nipple and areola are brought to the level they should be. The enlarged nipple is reduced by cutting around the skin If necessary. Excess breast skin tissue is removed to compensate for the loss of elasticity.

After the breast lift procedure, some reduction in bra size may be observed. If breast reduction is not desired at all or larger breasts are desired, breast tissue can be supported with silicone. In the first weeks after the operation, the breasts will appear slightly larger than they should be due to edema, but in the following months, this situation disappears as the edema disappears.
